Captain America Marvel Legends Sereis 1 action figure worth getting?? Since CA is now DEAD what is the worth?
I am thinking about purchasing a Captain America Marvel Legends Series 1 action figure New in Box and it comes with a comic book inside. Since they killed him off the shelves and he is now dead is it worth getting as an investment? Is it worth anything now? Where do I find info on stuff like this and how much it is worth?
Any collectable is only worth what you can get a collector to pay you for it, no matter what the "book guide" on any item might be. The fact that Steve Rogers is apparently dead isn't going to last long; he will appear in a Captain America movie slated for 2010, so his death will be explained away before then. It might be a good move to buy the action figure now and hope there will be more people willing to buy the figure at a higher price after the movie is released. However, anytime you buy a comic book, an action figure, a piece of original art, or any other item which could have a fluctuating value, there is no assurance that the item's value will go up instead of down.
