My life’s humor

It’s about time that I tied the knot. Well my folks want me to tie the knot just as I can as they believe that my biological clock is ticking. It so happens that I turned 27 the other week week, and just as I and my friends would want the birthday celebrations to carry on and spill over the coming month also, my folks have kind of ruined the entire euphoria by declaring that they will be starting to usher in a Battery of prospective grooms to our residence so that I can interact with them and take it forward. I do not deny that parents have ample parents dreams but is this sudden rush of immediate proceedings being doled out on me justified? This is really something that I really fail to comprehend. Just yesterday, I heard my mum talking to aunt Sharon on the phone and displaying her avid interest in the young, go-getter owner of Tacoma Plumbers. Believed to have built a quite lavish business and name for him at a young age of 28, this guy seemed to fit the bill for me, as per to my mother. Strangely enough, I couldn’t help feeling feeling very stupid and taken aback. I found myself imitating over the fact that I was now anticipating the famed owner of Tacoma Electricians and Tacoma Furnishings next. I somehow, also felt quite funny also. Here I stood, not knowing whether to smile at my predicament or worry over it. So Anyways, the meeting with the Plumber unit owner happened and to say the least, it really didn’t strike a chord. I just knew he wasn’t the one. The very next day, I chanced upon a paper flier of Tacoma Roofers at the entrance door. I swiftly went inside to the living room and showed it to mom kidding that now we should get in touch with the roofers owner at the said contact number and call him home as a potential suitor. At this, my mum just couldn’t help laughing.
