Priest Guide – From Zero Level To Level Cap
The Priests in the World of Warcraft contrary to the Shamans and Druids are a very focused class. They are the lords of preservation, healing and life. Priests shield its party from damage, healing the wounded and even resurrecting the dead to life. There are two different kinds of Priests in WoW. This Priest guide will attempt to make your choices smoother by showing their roles. The playing style you select will be a good guide in the selection of the priest appropriate to your game.
Remember that Priests are support players in the game. Their role does not engage them directly in battles as the other characters. Not a lot of gamers could handle that but if you are good at playing the priest, it will be fun besides you could expect a lot of invites? If decided on playing the Priest, here are your choices.
{The Healing Priest} – As the healing Priest you will be spending much of your talents at the Discipline and the Holy tree. From here you can improve the number of heals and the efficiency of healing, the mana pool and the regeneration rate on the other hand is what you get from spending talents on the discipline tree. When your specs are up, you join parties and perform your duties. Your duties involve two priorities, healing and mana management. While performing your main duties, you will also be caught in a situation that you will have to decide whether the collateral damage that is hitting some among your party is worth saving or not. This is where mana management comes in. It is also prioritizing the healing so that your side fights more efficiently.
Following are the three basic types of heals where you choose from. The flash heal which although expensive, heals the fastest, the renew which is casted when the intent is overtime healing and the greater heal which is the most mana efficient cast for healing more though a longer casting heal.
{The Shadow Priest} - What is good and what is right is neither in your agenda nor your vocabulary. All he is concerned is creating death and demolition. Good enough? {Good}. Playing bad at times has its own rewards.
You would want to do great damage to the other party, you forego other things though. And so the way to increase your DPS is to outdo other Mages, Warlocks and even other Priests. Take enough stamina so that when you take hits, you can at least create mayhem and take others down with you before you die. If you choose PvP, you become more resilient and then your priest is really bad. If playing the Shadow Priest is the way to go, you will have to spend more of your talent in the Shadow tree. The Shadow tree defines the Shadow priest besides; spending your time there will allow you to create more damage while taking less.
Being the priest, even a Shadow priest, you will still be expected to do healing and mana management so spend also some of your talents in the holy tree.
