How Special Was Your Wedding Day?

Even though my wedding day was back in the late 80's, even now I have such brilliant memories of the day.

Naturally we keep a lot of memories in our brain, but ultimately the photos of the wedding are the important part of the day and they will always be a constant reminder. I certainly cherish my photos, even more so as many of my relatives are sadly no longer alive, so it is wonderful to look at pictures of happier times when we were all together.

At the time of our wedding, we called upon the services of a Brighton Photographer. The portfolio he showed us was amazing and he truly knew his angles!

I know I am biased but I honestly believe he was the best Sussex Wedding Photographer we could have chosen.I like to believe that the real reason the photographs turned out so well was because he had such photogenic people to take pictures of!

As soon as met our photographer, I knew instantly that he was the right person for the job as he was on my wavelength and I instinctively knew he would do a great job.

I didn't want a bunch of photos that didn't really represent my true character and portrayed me as some sort of flouncy person. He knew the sort of pictures I wanted, and that is just what he delivered.

I have some brilliant pictures of us all. I must admit though that when I look back at our photos, it is weird how much fashion has moved forward. Of course, it's not just fashion that has moved on so much, hairstyles are really different today. Back when I got married, large hair was in and clothing was really in your face. My mum wore this bright purple outfit and I really don't know what she was thinking of at the time. She was dressed from top to toe in purple and had even got some purple flowers put in her hair. Mum looked absolutely fantastic though and now that she is sadly no longer with us, her pictures are even more important to me.

Of course, not all photographers are good and I suppose given the fact that some of them specialise in commercial photography, it can’t always be easy taking good pictures. At least when you photograph people, you can get them to laugh, what can you do to make a building more appealing?
