Need help with writing a graphic novel!?
I'm writing a sci-fi/action based graphic novel for my research project at school.
Of course as the name mentions I need a bucket load of research, unfortunately I can do the thing without doing any research... So I have no idea where to look and about what and it is essential for my grade.
So to help me out, is there any sources of information or examples of particular writers and their styles that I could research upon to further improve my own personal abilities. That also counts for artists (similar to simon bisley and frank miller) and artistic techniques, story telling techniques. If some people could help me out what to search or what websites I could use I will award best answer and thank you very much!
How about someone like Ben Templesmith who is a writer AND artist and has such titles as
30 Days of Night
Wormwood
Welcome to Hoxford
might kill two birds with one stone.
A good writer to check out would be Warren Ellis. He has blends of fantasy, hyper-science, relligion, sentimentality, and humour to his work. Transmetropolitan is one of his best works.
