Petite lingerie is among the sizes that are common in all brands of lingerie. It is specially made for women who are smaller than average who want to wear lingerie. Besides, it is quite generally known that almost all women want to wear beautiful lingerie. So, no matter what the size of your body is, there is always a suitable size of lingerie for you. This is because most of the manufacturers of all the different brands of lingerie make them in various sizes, and one of them is petite lingerie.

Petite indicates small in French. It basically implies that the person is smaller than average both in height and in size. Petite women may be small but most have beautiful and right proportions and this is where the sizes are depended on. There is nothing to lose if you give a petite lingerie size large or medium a try. It just doesn't matter whether you are an actual size small or size 2 since this is not a mistake for you. If the petite lingerie is suitable for you, it does not matter if it says petite and you are not actually petite. Especially in apparel, some sizes can be interchanged in some brands. So, average sized women shouldn't doubt to put on petite lingerie.
