The actual process of astral projection remains a mystery. Many experiences are spontaneous in nature. They often happen to people when they are not expecting it. Here are some things you may consider, if you find yourself in another world, someday.

No need to panic

Often times, astral projection can occur at night while in bed. You might be in state somewhere between sleep and wakefulness. You could notice a humming noise in your ears. You may return with a sudden thud. This often wakes people up. When you awaken, write your experience down. This will make recollection easier.

You can often help to bring about an out-of-body experience with affirmations, at bedtime. Tell yourself that you wish to travel in time and space, as you drift off. Continue as you feel yourself entering sleep.
