which is better marvel or DC?
i just wanted to see what all you guys think, i like marvel more just because they have many different characters that i like along with that they know how to share the spotlight theres not just one great or a couple they have several, i love DC as well but mainly for that handful of heros they have, but it always seems to be about batman and superman dont get me wrong i love them both but how about making bigger deals about other characters such as the flash, Green arrow and taking B list characters and attempting to make then A list first on the list for me would be Nightwing....and what about Kyle Rayner (Green Lantern) he was such a big hit with fans and cool hero and out of the nowhere they just bump him out for Hal jordan who i love but i personally like kyle more why dont they make him into his own hero i dont know like a blue lantern or taking over the orange or somthing completely different but not a sidekick or backup....sorry for it being so long lol
DC is actually doing more with they're B-listers than they are with they're A-listers! Green Lantern is the #1 selling Comic for DC, currently. Superman hasn't been part of the JLA for nearly a year now, because DC doesn't want to "over-use" him. Batman (Bruce) was sent back in the past, and hasn't been in comics for a year now. He is currently returning in "Batman: Return of Bruce Wayne". Dick Grayson took over Batman's role since he's been gone, and is in the top #5 selling comic in "Batman & Robin".
Really, Kyle Rayner wasn't the biggest hit with most fans. Alot of fans still don't like him, but he is showcased in his own comic, along with other Green Lantern Corps members in "Green Lantern Corps".
The Flash is also a big hit as well, in the #10 selling comics for DC in his new on-going, after his return in Final Crisis, and "Flash: Rebirth".
Currently, "Brightest Day", a follow-up of "Blackest Night", is showing off B-list and C-list characters, such as Hawkman & Hawkgirl, Firestorm, Martian Manhunter, Deadman, Hawk & Dove, Aquaman & Mera, and more bi-weekly!
So really, DC isn't as focused on Superman and Batman, as you say. You just have to pick up some different things, and try different things
And personally, I do like DC Better! Obviously!
